SLI corporate bond fund is 'top performer'
03/05/2007
The flagship corporate bond fund from Standard Life Investments (SLI) has proved to be one of the best performers in its class, new figures reveal.
According to statistics from Russell Mellon, more than half of the investment funds offered by SLI finished among the top quarter during the course of the last tax year and this includes the £1.4 billion corporate bond account.
SLI states that this fund is the second largest of its kind in the UK and has regularly produced effective performances over recent years for major clients.
"To witness yet another quarter in which we are consistently out-performing our peers across such a wide range of asset classes is extremely rewarding for the team at SLI," comments David Leiper, global head of consultant relationships at the firm.
He added that the Russell Mellon data provides a standard by which the company can measure the progress of its pensions funds and other investment accounts.
