The estimated 100,000 Muslim businesses in the UK now have a service that meets their needs, according to Lloyds TSB.
Launched by the bank yesterday, the Islamic business and corporate account is the first product of its kind to be compliant with Shariah law.
Lloyds TSB states that the new account will be available throughout its network of 2,000 branches.
Shazia Saleem, a 23-year-old Muslim entrepreneur, said that before this service was made available aspiring Muslim entrepreneurs "have had limited" options to finance business ideas.
Business loans are one way of helping companies get started - Lloyds TSB offers this type of finance.
Truett Tate, group executive director of wholesale and international banking at Lloyds TSB, said: "The entrepreneurial spirit in the UK is truly something to be proud of and Muslim businesses are making a phenomenal contribution to this through their creativity and incredible work ethic.
