Bank appoints new senior business banking manager
09/03/2007
Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank has announced the appointment of Gary Guest as its new senior business banking manager at its north-west business centre.
He will involve himself in the "extremely competitive" business banking market, helping companies in the north-west of England to expand, according to Mark Taylor, head of the centre.
The role of the new manager will involve generating new business and offering firms better value - he may also deal with business loans in his new position.
Mr Guest has gained experience in the commercial banking industry having worked for Ford Credit Britain, Jaguar Financial Services, Bank of Scotland and, most recently, Barclays.
"With Gary's knowledge of the motor trade combined with his banking expertise he will be a great asset to the bank and to businesses in the region," Mr Taylor suggests.
Alliance & Leicester's competitive and alternative approach to commercial banking, as well as its customer focus, were three reasons cited by Mr Guest for joining the company.
